Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)
Q. |
What is the warranty that you mention? |
A. |
Our most popular question! To explain the warranty in full detail, we've set up a dedicated warranty page. We encourage everyone to look this over, even though you'll probably never need it!

Q. |
How do I know this machine will last? |
A. |
First, consider the fact that every machine we sell is commercial equipment. These machines were developed and built by the manufacturer to withstand the abuse of a public environment and crowds of all types. Most machines are built to be played tens of thousands of times without being overhauled. If you were to buy a machine that was pulled off the street immediately following that kind of service (like most that are for sale elsewhere), then you'd probably have your hands full. But the machines that we sell are cleaned, serviced, and often completely refurbished so that you don't just get a working machine, but a machine that works and looks as close to new as possible. We may be able to provide a more detailed answer depending on what machine you are inquiring about.

Q. |
I am interested in a Megatouch (touchscreen game) but am confused by all the different versions. Help? |
A. |
To answer this common question in a small space such as this would be disservice to you and the Megatouch product line itself. To learn about all things Megatouch and then some, please check out our very own Megatouch page.

Q. |
I'm looking for a specific game. Do you have it? |
A. |
We might! Our inventory changes rapidly, and while we usually have a long list of games that we normally sell, we almost always have games in our inventory that are not listed for whatever reason (probably because we haven't gotten around to it yet). So let us know what you're looking for, and if we don't have it, there is a very good chance that we can get it for you! This also applies to multiple quantities of the same game.

Q. |
Can a game be set to Free Play? |
A. |
Most of the games we sell can be set to Free Play. Unless specifically stated otherwise all Megatouch, video, and pinball machines CAN be set to Free Play. Most pool tables, air hockey tables, fooseball tables, and crane machines CAN NOT be set to Free Play.
|
Q. |
How many plays does this machine have on it? |
A. |
Many machines will have a counter (via software or hardware mechanism) that is supposed to record how many times it has been played or had coins inserted. However, our experiences have shown that both software and hardware counters are NOT a reliably accurate. Counters of any type can easily be reset, malfunction, and even be manipulated to display false values. The best way to determine how many times a game has been played is by looking at the condition of the machine, not the counter!

Q. |
How do you ship these machines? |
A. |
To answer and explain anything related to shipping, we've set up a shipping page that will tell you everything you'd want to know.
|
Q. |
How many machines do you sell? Who is your typical buyer? |
A. |
The amount of machines that we sell and the typical buyer varies by the season, but we usually average a minimum of 2 machines per week. We tend to sell a lot of machines to operators in the Spring, and more to home-use buyers (and more operators) in the Fall, especially before the holidays. But we are very happy to sell you a great machine, any time of the year.
