Megatouch FORCE Vibe 2008.5

Item #MTFV08w

This Megatouch is part of the FORCE series and comes in the unique Vibe cabinet. The Vibe is different from all other Megatouch cabinet models in that it has two pieces -- a 15" LCD display unit and a processing unit -- that are connected only by a 5 ft cable harness. This means that you can keep the processing unit safely tucked away while the display unit sits on the bar, taking up less space than any other Megatouch today. The FORCE 2008.5 software is loaded with 128 unique games including new titles like Photo Pop, Ink Rally, and Chainz 2. Erotic and Kids Club games (either category enabled at one time) are also available and have been updated for this software version. A dollar bill validator (DBV) is installed, and the pricing can be adjusted or set to Free Play.Due to its ultra compact size, this model does not accept quarters. An optional stability base is included upon request.

What's the difference?

The two-piece Vibe is a great cabinet design and the only one of its kind. Even though newer models are all-in-one compacts, they suffer from overheating while the Vibe does not. Having the processing unit separate from the display means that the design focus can be more about functionality than aesthetics, with easy access to hardware components, plenty of airflow, and easy transportation by disconnecting the two units. The swiveling display unit is as compact as it gets. Like any other FORCE though, this machine has 5+ year old components that are due for service or replacement in order to function reliably. For details on this, read below...

WHAT YOU GET FROM US VS MOST OTHERS
A sharp LCD and a clean, accurate touchscreen -- separated during the re-build process to clean the notorious oil marks that build up along the edges between them. If the touchscreen has heavy scratches or the display has bad pixels/lines, we swap in a new one while putting it all back together. VS Typically, a touchscreen with oil smudges between it and the LCD. Sometimes, a heavily scratched touchscreen with deadspots, and/or dead pixels or rows of pixels on the LCD. Due to the cost of replacement and the risk in working with these fragile parts, most sellers won't mention problems here.
No matter the age or condition of the motherboard, we remove it from the machine, clean it, and then service it by installing new components that are better than what it came with. We do all of this in-house so that we know the work is done right; and when done right, the motherboard is ready for a long, reliable life. VS It's not a matter of IF it fails, but WHEN. Even in ideal conditions, some components on the motherboards in these machines need to be replaced. Motherboards can also die slowly, meaning that a "working" machine may be on the brink of needing expensive repair.
A new power supply that provides "clean" and accurate voltage to all other components. Voltage is checked for accuracy with a volt-meter. VS Likely the original power supply, now aged beyond its service life and sending improper and/or unfiltered voltages. This will and may have already caused damage to other parts of the machine.
If the touchscreen isn't working 100% and free of major scratches, we replace it. We also provide instructions on how to keep it clean. VS A touschreen that may be good...or it may have deadspots from either scratches or improper cleaning.
New fans all around to keep the machine running cool; often better fans than what it came with to keep it even cooler and QUIETER. New fans are also relatively cheap insurance for a fully working machine. VS Old and LOUD fans that are covered in gunk and no longer doing their job properly. The fans in the Vibe are right at a vented edge of the processing unit, and when the bearings wear out you will hear them.
A machine that has been completely taken apart, cleaned, and put back together properly with parts that are either new or function like new. This is a long process that, if charged at a typical labor rate by the hour, would cost hundreds of dollars easily. We finish off with new artwork, and locks WITH keys! VS A machine that hasn't been apart since it was put together at the factory. But it's been "cleaned" or "shopped" with a spray of Windex and canned air...because obviously that will clean up the years of smoke odor, stains, beer spills and dust clumps around and inside the machine (which you won't get in to without the keys)...right?
A ONE YEAR WARRANTY from a reputable company and lifetime technical support. Our goal is not to just sell a clean, working machine, but sell a machine that we can KEEP working by doing the hard work up front and answering any questions or issues by phone and e-mail. VS In this business, it's usually "as-is" and "it worked when it left...sorry". Even if the seller is willing to help, one can quickly end up spending hundreds, even thousands of dollars to get a "bargain" machine working again. You can also end up with an impressive paperweight.

Display unit dimensions are 16" W x 11" W x 18" T; weight is approx. 40 lbs. without base.

Processing unit dimensions are 12" W x 15" W x 4.5" T; weight is approx. 20 lbs.

Megatouch FORCE eVo 2007.5

Item #MTFEB07w

This Megatouch is part of the FORCE series and comes in the compact eVo cabinet. The eVo is the top product of the FORCE line-up, taking cues from previous models and packing everything into one unit behind a 15" LCD and flat touchscreen. The FORCE 2007.5 software is a best-seller and offers up 154 games including popular newcomers like Luxor, Chug Monkey, and Texas Hold'em. Erotic and Kids Club games (either category enabled at one time) are also available and plentiful. A dollar bill validator (DBV) is installed, and the pricing can be adjusted or set to Free Play.

What's the difference?

The eVo is the culmination of all previous FORCE models, but it is far from perfect. The main problem is that, with everything arranged and packed so close together inside, the eVo tends to overheat very quickly when the dust builds up and the small fans wear out. This overheating reduces the life of the components inside, meaning that the already poor quality hard drive, power supply and motherboard may only last 2-3 years instead of 4-6. Many eVos that we take in to refurbish may appear to work fine at first, but we take apart and rebuild the whole thing regardless to ENSURE that it works just like when it left the assembly line, and for a long time. So how much better is our final product than a used machine taken right off the street? Let's compare...

WHAT YOU GET FROM US VS MOST OTHERS

Motherboards can also die slowly, meaning that a "working" machine may be on the brink of needing expensive repair.
A new power supply that provides "clean" and accurate voltage to all other components. Our new replacements are better than the originals, in that they are more efficient, stay cooler and last longer. VS Likely the original, very low quality power supply that was put in all eVos, which tends to go bad fast and can take out other parts with it. Some wait until it's too late, and others don't attempt a replacement because of the "rat's nest of wires" inside.
If the touchscreen isn't working 100% and free of major scratches, we replace it. We also provide instructions on how to keep it clean. VS A touschreen that may be good...or it may have deadspots from either scratches or improper cleaning.
New fans all around to give the eVo the proper cooling it NEEDS; often with better fans than what it came with to keep it even cooler and QUIETER. New fans are also relatively cheap insurance for a fully working machine. VS Almost always the original fans, which means that the machine is overheating (thus being damaged) and NOISY. If the previous owner didn't care to replace a few $5 fans, what does that say about the care to the rest of the machine?
A machine that has been completely taken apart, cleaned, and put back together properly with parts that are either new or function like new. Megatouch FORCE Elite Edge 2007.5

Item #MTFEE07w

This Megatouch is part of the FORCE series and comes in the final cabinet of the series, the Elite Edge. The Elite Edge is very similar to the eVo, except that the display sits lower and the base allows for a larger bill acceptor stacker.

The Elite Edge is basically an eVo (the more common all-in-one compact model) with a base that is deeper and not as tall. This allows for a display that doesn't sit up as high as the eVos, and a 700 bill stacker instead of a 500. The main problems from the eVo still exist, in that everything is arranged and packed so close together inside that it tends to overheat very quickly. This overheating reduces the life of the components inside, meaning that the already poor quality hard drive, power supply and motherboard may only last 2-3 years instead of 4-6. Each Elite Edge that we take in, working or not, is taken apart and rebuilt to ENSURE that it works just like when it left the assembly line, and for a long time. So how much better is our final product than a used machine taken right off the street? Let's compare...

WHAT YOU GET FROM US VS MOST OTHERS

New fans are also relatively cheap insurance for a fully working machine. VS Almost always the original fans, which means that the machine is overheating (thus being damaged) and NOISY. If the previous owner didn't care to replace a few $5 fans, what does that say about the care to the rest of the machine?
A machine that has been completely taken apart, cleaned, and put back together properly with parts that are either new or function like new.

Machine dimensions are 17" W x 15" D x 19" T; weight is approx. 65 lbs.

Megatouch FORCE Elite Edge 2008.5

Item #MTFEE08w

This Megatouch is part of the FORCE series and comes in the final cabinet of the series, the Elite Edge. The Elite Edge is very similar to the eVo, except that the display sits lower and the base allows for a larger bill acceptor stacker. The FORCE 2008.5 software is loaded with 128 unique games including new titles like Photo Pop, Ink Rally, and Chainz 2. Erotic and Kids Club games (either category enabled at one time) are also available and have been updated for this software version. A dollar bill validator (DBV) is installed, and the pricing can be adjusted or set to Free Play.

What's the difference?

Our new replacements are better than the originals, in that they are more efficient, stay cooler and last longer. VS Likely the original, very low quality power supply that was put in all Elite Edge units, which tends to go bad fast and can take out other parts with it.

Megatouch FORCE eVo PORTABLE 2007.5

Item #MTFPORT

Ever wished you could play your favorite Megatouch games while sitting in something more comfortable than a bar stool? Now you can. This Megatouch is part of the FORCE series and comes in our custom eVo PORTABLE cabinet -- the only Megatouch that you can play anywhere in the house from your lap! It can also be played and stored while on our custom stand (pictured above). The FORCE 2007.5 software is a best-seller and offers up 154 games including popular newcomers like Luxor, Chug Monkey, and Texas Hold'em. Erotic and Kids Club games (either category enabled at one time) are also available and plentiful. This game is set to Free Play and is for home use only.

What's the difference?

We didn't make this cabinet, in fact all we did was remove (and slightly modify) the display portion from an eVo. This unit weighs just a tad more than a laptop, but is certainly light enough that anyone can carry it. You can play it from your lap while sitting on the couch, or you can play it while it rests on our stand. No matter how you measure it, this unit is smaller and more manageable than any other Megatouch out there. We are the first and only ones to offer this. Why? First, we like to think we're a little more creative than those that just flip or sell used games. Second, we're the only ones crazy enough to take apart an eVo, and sell you a portable (yet 100% playable) portion of it for LESS money! That makes this machine more affordable for you and more practical for home use.

Of course, we wouldn't sell a Megatouch without completely dis-assembling and refurbishing it. So let's take a look and what this machine has had done to it as compared to your usual (soon-to-be paperweight) used Megatouch...

Megatouch FORCE Fusion 2008.5

Item #MTFF08w

This Megatouch is part of the FORCE series and comes in the Fusion cabinet. The Fusion is the newest upright (or "stand-up") cabinet design to date, with a thin, modern structure built around a flat 17" touchscreen and LCD. Unlike the traditional countertop Megatouches, this machine can be placed anywhere in a room -- no bar or table required. The FORCE 2008.5 software is loaded with 128 unique games including new titles like Photo Pop, Ink Rally, and Chainz 2. Erotic and Kids Club games (either category enabled at one time) are also available and have been updated for this software version. A dollar bill validator (DBV) and coin mech are installed, and the pricing can be adjusted or set to Free Play.

What's the difference?

The Fusion is one of only two FORCE upright cabinet models, with all others being countertop models. That said, the Fusion is a superb option when compared to any Megatouch, and is without question the best of the two uprights. The 17" display/flatscreen is ergonomical and dependable, the cabinet is stylish while structurally sound, and best of all...there's still plenty of room inside for excellent airflow and easy maintenance. The only real downside to this model is that they didn't make enough of them! The common FORCE hardware components still require service with age, but other than that, this is a machine that you can literally stand behind. But to see what separates this Fusion from others you'll find, let's compare...

Megatouch ION eVo 2008.5

Item #MTIEB08w

This Megatouch is part of the ION series and comes in the compact ION eVo cabinet. The ION eVo is the next generation of the FORCE eVo, with all new hardware inside, a joystick, and a new silver color scheme all around. The ION 2008.5 software is loaded with over 140 games including new titles like Beer Pong, Photo Pop, Ink Rally, and Chainz 2. Erotic and Kids Club games (either category enabled at one time) are also available, with new video Erotic content in this version. A dollar bill validator (DBV) and coin mech are installed, and the pricing can be adjusted or set to Free Play.

What's the difference?

The ION eVo is part of the newer ION platform, but many of the same issues found on the FORCE eVo still exist. The main problem is that, with everything arranged and packed so close together inside, the eVo tends to overheat very quickly when the dust builds up and the small fans wear out. This overheating reduces the life of the components inside, meaning that the hard drive, power supply and motherboard don't last as long as they should. Actually, the motherboards in these machines weren't built to last long at all! So even if a 1-3 year old ION eVo looks decent and appears to work (if it powers on at all), we disassemble and rebuild the whole thing regardless so that it works BETTER than when it left the assembly line. If you don't believe us, we'd encourage you to find and ask an operator how reliable their IONs were; then compare that to some feedback from customers who bought our refurbished IONs. For more detail on our product compared to what you'll find pretty much everywhere else, read on...

So as a preventative measure, we remove the motherboard from the machine, clean it, and then service it by installing new components that are better than what it came with. VS Merit (the manufacturer) services an enormous amount of failed ION motherboards under warranty, but they install the same, poor quality components!

Machine dimensions are 17" W x 15.5" D x 19.5" T; weight is approx. 60 lbs.

Megatouch ION Elite Edge 2010.5

Item #MTIEE10w

This Megatouch is part of the ION series and comes in the compact ION Elite Edge cabinet. The ION Elite Edge is the next generation of the FORCE Elite Edge, with all new hardware inside, a joystick, and a new silver color scheme all around. The Elite Edge is also very similar to the eVo, except that the display sits lower and the lit base allows for a larger bill acceptor stacker. The ION 2010.5 software takes Megatouch to a new level with games like Little Shop Treasures, Jackpot Corner, and Brain in Gear, and many updates to classic titles. Erotic and Kids Club games (either category enabled at one time) are also available, with plenty of new Erotic content added to this version. A dollar bill validator (DBV) is installed, and the pricing can be adjusted or set to Free Play.

What's the difference?

The ION Elite Edge is part of the newer ION platform, but many of the same issues found on the FORCE Elite Edge still exist. The main problem is that, with everything arranged and packed so close together inside, the machine tends to overheat very quickly when the dust builds up and the small fans wear out.

The motherboards in these IONs have horrible quality issues. So as a preventative measure, we remove the motherboard from the machine, clean it, and then service it by installing new components that are better than what it came with. We do all of this in-house so that we know the work is done right. VS Merit (the manufacturer) services an enormous amount of failed ION motherboards under warranty, but they install the same, poor quality components! So if you buy a used ION without a warranty, you WILL have expensive issues, as sometimes these boards can not be repaired, and those who usually claim they can "repair" them just end up destroying them.
A new power supply that provides "clean" and accurate voltage to all other components. Our new replacements are better than the originals, in that they are more efficient, stay cooler and last longer. VS Likely the original, very low quality power supply that was put in all Elite Edges, which tends to go bad fast and can take out other parts with it.
IONs also tend to have more touchscreen issues than other platforms.
New fans all around to give the ION eVo the proper cooling it NEEDS; often with better fans than what it came with to keep it even cooler and QUIETER. New fans are also relatively cheap insurance for a fully working machine. VS Almost always the original fans, which means that the machine is overheating (thus being damaged) and NOISY. If the previous owner didn't care to replace a few $5 fans, what does that say about the care to the rest of the machine?

Megatouch ION eVo PORTABLE 2009.5

Item #MTIPORT

Ever wished you could play your favorite Megatouch games while sitting in something more comfortable than a bar stool? Now you can. This Megatouch is part of the newer ION series and comes in our custom 17" ION eVo PORTABLE cabinet -- the only Megatouch that you can play anywhere in the house from your lap! It can also be played and stored while on our custom stand (pictured above). The ION 2009.5 software is packed with 147 games including newcomers Super Boxxi, Skee Ball, Fight the Landlord and more. Erotic and Kids Club games (either category enabled at one time) are also available, with even more Erotic content added to this version.

Second, we're the only ones crazy enough to take apart an ION eVo, and sell you a portable (yet 100% playable) portion of it for LESS money! That makes this machine more affordable for you and more practical for home use.

Note that this unit differs from our FORCE Portable unit in that the display is 17" instead of 15", the marquee is backlit, and all hardware and software is part of the newer and faster ION platform. It also comes in silver only.

Of course, we wouldn't sell a Megatouch without completely dis-assembling and refurbishing it. So let's take a look and what this machine has had done to it as compared to your usual (soon-to-be paperweight) used Megatouch...

Megatouch ION Aurora 2010.5

Item #MTIA10

This Megatouch is part of the ION series and comes in the Aurora cabinet. The Aurora is a new-style cabinet design with a sleek, compact shape and a color-changing light show throughout the machine. A dollar bill validator (DBV) and coin mech is installed, and the pricing can be adjusted or set to Free Play.

What's the difference?

The Aurora comes in a few different versions (17", 19", widescreen) and this is the 19" display version. Unlike previous IONs, the Aurora comes with adequate cooling (at the expense of a little more noise) so it is much more reliable. The components that are exected to fail sooner are also easier to access, and the motherboards in these units are of slightly better quality. Regardless, we service the motherboard and replace the power supply (and often the hard drive) so that the machine functions like new and stays that way for years to come. To compare our machine to one taken right off of location, read below...

A clean, intact, and fully glowing halo. The plastic ring around the Aurora is often referred to as the "halo", and they tend to break. VS If that halo is cracked, you can expect to spend 4+ hours trying to replace it. Trust us...it's not easy!
New rear case fans to give the ION eVo the proper cooling it NEEDS; often with better fans than what it came with to keep it even cooler and QUIETER. New fans are also relatively cheap insurance for a fully working machine. VS Almost always the original fans, which means that the machine may be overheating (thus being damaged) and NOISY. JVL Retro iTouch10

Item #JVLRetro10

This is JVL Retro with iTouch10 software installed. The Retro is perhaps the most attractive countertop game out there with woodgrain accents, chrome trim and a flashy LED ring that is reminscent of the classic bubbler jukeboxes. The iTouch10 software is packed with over 150 games including newcomers like Bumper Wars, Count Your Fingers, and What A Mess. You can also choose to enable the Erotic category which offers a variety of adult games. A dollar bill validator (DBV) and coin mech is installed, and the pricing can be adjusted or set to Free Play.

What's the difference?

The Retro is an awesome design and like most JVL countertop games it uses reliable hardware. There is no hard drive (or other moving parts for that matter), and unlike the Merit Megatouches the motherboard assembly is built to last! Regardless, we make sure all of the hardware is performing like it should, and we have the ability to test and repair components if necessary. Some Retro units are prone to having the chrome pieces damaged, but this one looks about as good as you'll find with only light wear on the sides. To compare our machine to one taken right off of location, read below...

VS Sometimes, a heavily scratched touchscreen with deadspots, and/or dead pixels or rows of pixels on the LCD. Due to the cost of replacement and the risk in working with these fragile parts, most sellers won't mention problems here.
A fully tested and clean motherboard assembly. If it had any issues, we repaired it and prepared it to last. VS A motherboard that "works" because the game comes on and plays fine for a few minutes. But it may have some faulty components, shoddy repair work or be coated in dirt.
A clean, intact, and fully glowing LED ring. All colors work and are synchronized with the machine (ie it flashes certain colors/patterns in certain games as it should). VS If that plastic ring is cracked, or the LED system is broken, you can expect to spend a LOT of time and money repairing it.
A machine that has been cleaned, inspected, and repaired PROPERLY with parts that are either new or function like new. VS A machine that hasn't been serviced or even inspected once after years of smoke odor, stains, beer spills and dust clumps around and inside the machine.
A ONE YEAR WARRANTY from a reputable company and lifetime technical support. Our goal is not to just sell a clean, working machine, but sell a machine that we can KEEP working by doing the hard work up front and answering any questions or issues by phone and e-mail.
